Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced RN Unit Manager to oversee our nursing unit and ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership skills, have a strong clinical background, and be able to effectively manage and motivate a team of nurses and healthcare professionals. The RN Unit Manager will collaborate with other healthcare providers, maintain efficient operations, and promote a positive work environment.
Responsibilities:
1. Manage and supervise a team of nurses and healthcare professionals on a nursing unit.2. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to the nursing staff and ensure their professional development.3. Develop and implement nursing care plans based on the needs and conditions of patients.4. Monitor patient progress, review charts, and oversee the administration of medication and treatments.5. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.6. Maintain accurate and complete documentation of patient records, including assessments, treatments, and progress.7. Evaluate and assess nursing staff performance and provide constructive feedback for improvement.8. Ensure adherence to policies, procedures, and standards of nursing practice within the unit.9. Foster a positive work environment that encourages employee engagement, teamwork, and professional growth.10. Manage budgetary responsibilities and control costs within the nursing unit.11. Participate in quality improvement initiatives, infection control measures, and regulatory compliance activities.12. Serve as a resource person for staff, patients, and families, providing support and education as needed.13. Collaborate with community resources and healthcare organizations to enhance patient care outcomes.14. Stay current with industry trends, advancements, and evidence-based practices to provide optimal nursing care.
Qualifications:
1. Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.2. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; relevant advanced degree is a plus.3. Proven experience as an RN in a clinical setting, with previous managerial or supervisory experience preferred.4. Strong clinical knowledge and proficiency in nursing practices and procedures.5. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to effectively manage and motivate a diverse nursing team.6. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal, to facilitate effective collaboration and information sharing.7. Experience in developing and implementing nursing care plans and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.8. Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems and other healthcare software.9. Strong organizational and time management abilities, with the capability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.10. Ability to remain calm, composed, and professional in stressful situations.11. Flexibility to work various shifts and weekends, as required.Note:

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
