- Greet and check-in patients as they arrive at the dental office - Schedule and confirm appointments using medical scheduling systems - Collect and update patient information in electronic medical records - Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations - Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from patients, insurance companies, and other healthcare providers - Assist with billing and insurance claims processing - Manage the front desk area, including keeping it clean and organized
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a dental office or similar healthcare setting preferred - Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures is a plus - Proficient in using medical scheduling systems (such as Epic) - Strong organizational skills with attention to detail - Excellent communication and customer service skills - Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
